It was one of those perfect English autumnal days which occur more frequently in memory than in life. ~P.D. JamesAh, autumn. The air is getting cool and crisp. The leaves are beginning to change. It's as if a whole new spirit is in the air. What is your favorite thing about this time of year? And what would you do, if you had a perfect fall day to spend however you wanted?
Fall, or autumn, however you want to call it. One of the most things I love about this season is the holiday everybody knows and loves...Halloween. It's the time of year to decorate your house like a haunted mansion or to enrich with peaceful fall decorations. And how all the kids wait till the sky gets dark and the air gets cold to go house hunting for candy. You can't celebrate Halloween without pumpkins, so go to a close pumpkin patch and search for a nice plump pumpkin to carve it's face into. And the most part of all... the fall baking! My favorite is the Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread, but my mom only bakes it once a year. Ohh how I love autumn.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about this time of year is the weather. I enjoy wearing warm clothes and dressing in layers. If i had the perfect fall day to spend however i wanted, I'd probably spend it at the park with some friends and my girlfriend. That way we can all hang out, yet enjoy the fall colors of autumn.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about Fall/Autumn is how cold it is.You can dress in a lot more different clothes ,unlike summer and you can only dress so much until you get to hot. I agree with Xv-Zephyr-vX about hanging with my Girl friend would be the perfect fall day for me. That's just my opinion though.
ReplyDeletei really dont like fall that much around here because it goes from a really hot summer to a really cold fall theres not in the middle tempeture.i also dont like it because that means no more swimming which is what i spend half my time doing. but it also means its hunting time
ReplyDeleteI love the fall in missouri because it is very nice outside and there are a bunch of leaves that you can jump into. I HATE raking the leaves though. Fall is my favorite season.
ReplyDeleteI love fall because i love football. I also love the cool tempatures. I like the beautiful colors that the leaves turn in the fall. I also lovehow prtty the hills are with all the different colors.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about autumn is Halloween and that it isn't so hot outside. If I had a day to spend however I wanted I would probably go to my grandparents and ride my fourwheeler and dirtbike. After that I would go to Branson and eat at Olive Garden and then go home and watch tv.
ReplyDeleteOh how I love fall. It is my favorite season. I do love Halloween how ever many of you are forgetting about one of the best holidays of all time... Thanksgiving! I also love fall because of football season and its the perfect tome to play outside. The air is crisp but not terribly cold which for me is the ideal weather. My perfect day would probably be a day of doing nothing but playing outside and sitting by the fire drinking hot chocolate
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about this time of year, is Halloween. I love dressing up and going out with my friends. What I like about fall, is the weather. I love it being not too cold, or hot outside. My perfect fall day, would be getting my friends together and having a big bonfire outside.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about this time of year is the nice cool weather, and Halloween because you see how creative people get with costumes either scary or funny. If i had one whole day of fall I would get all my friends and we would have a party!!! :O wooohhh!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about this time of year is the perfect temperature.If i could do anything on a perfect fall day it would be to ride my horses, and spend time with my brother outside. I would also ride four wheelers with my other brother.
ReplyDeleteAutumn/ fall is my favorite season. :) It's perfect, I love the color of the trees, and I love that smell of burning leaves. It also has my favorite holiday in it, Halloween:D I love dressing up for Halloween, personally I think you're never "too old" to dress up!:)

ReplyDeleteThe reasons I like the fall so much are because my birthday is in October, I rather have to wear a jacket than tons of dotorant, I enjoy the colder weather and I like the holidays that occur during the fall.
ReplyDeleteFall/autumn is a great time of year because everything is really pretty around that time and its colder and nicer in the air.My moms birth day is in October eleventh and we always do something fun on that day.And a love the cold weather and Fall/autumn also means that winters almost here and i love snow:)
ReplyDeleteFirst of all im from texas and i hate the "Nice cool Crisp air" its like 32 degrees i hate the cold. I would stay inside beacuse its really really cold or i would make my mom take me to the movies or somthing like that.
ReplyDeleteI would do something festive and fun, somthing to remember and look back on, such as jumping into leaves, going to the ocean(that was a joke.....no ocean in Branson:CC), or just hanging around outside.
ReplyDeleteThe one and only thing I don't like about Fall is the spiders..ick the spiders! Other than that, I love the beautiful colors of the leaves on the trees. The first thing i think of when I here Autumn is THANKSGIVING! It's a great holiday to spend with the family and stuff our faces! If i were to have a full day to spend however I'd like, I would have a few friends over, watch tv,and drink hot chocolate.
